I have worked as a web development consultant. Most notably I worked with a colleague in making kfum.se. After that I mostly focused on developing, in house, indie games and iPhone apps.

I worked on the online football manager game on Freekick.org. I worked on several things. Most notably I wrote code in PHP and in C to make the two systems work in similar ways with time for player birthdates and ages.
But the biggest project I was in charge of was the payment options and in game VIP store.
The site has been taken down because it was no longer economically feasible

An academic programming education with focus on the craft. We learnt the art of programming. Not just languages and theories. But also the right frame of mind that a programmer needs and the tools around the trade (like how to work in teams and how to read code).
